We Showcase SDI’s Impressive Facilities in New Video
We recently shot a brand video for SDI Displays, showing off their unique production facilities and demonstrating the work they do for big brands like Marks & Spencer, Selfridges and Superdrug.
POS and retail display experts SDI are different in that they take concepts from design to production to installation, and can handle the whole project in-house at their large production facilities in Loughborough.
To showcase these facilities, and demonstrate the ‘create, make, install’ philosophy that sits at the heart of their business, we created a brand video that went behind the scenes on a typical day at the SDI factory.
We spent a day on location at the SDI factory, capturing footage of their staff hard at work. Although there are numerous automated processes that make production more efficient, a lot of components are hand-finished, and we were keen to show that level of craftsmanship in the video.
After that, we visited various locations to see SDI’s work out in the retail environment. In particular, Marks & Spencer were keen to work with us to showcase the various different components that SDI produce for them across all areas of their business, including the bespoke Browse & Order units.
As with our video for Warwick Edging, we added subtitles so that viewers get the full story. It also allows the video to be viewed silently on social media, so the video can reach more people.
